To conquer his fear of heights, "Good Morning America" host Chris Cuomo jumped from the roof of an Atlantic City casino Tuesday morning.

As part of the ABC morning show's series about overcoming fears, Cuomo and a stunt coordinator used cables to zip nearly 40 stories down the side of the Trump Taj Mahal.

The stunt was carried live on "Good Morning America" as a crowd of onlookers cheered from the ground.

Before the trick, Cuomo told himself he was on "an elevator with no walls."

And after?

Cuomo, the son of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, says he was happy he did it.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. is bringing in a new celebrity: popular TV chef Emeril Lagasse.

A man called Machaan

Returning to his desk, Utsav found life going on smoothly. Rohan here was calling distributors, using his usual swear words; Sumant was telling admin in his flat tones that yet again there was no paper in the printer. Anahita was telling the pantry: "Baba re, chai bhejo..." Nothing had changed; the need for paper and tea and sales continued.

"Utsav, are you alright?" asked Anahita. His voice cracked as he said: "I don't know, but it seems a batchmate of mine, Manjunath, was killed in UP." And Utsav broke down again.

Rohan, a few feet away, continued to type his sales report. Eyes glued to his monitor, he asked: "How was he killed?" Someone said, "This is life," and added more sugar to his tea.

Utsav left the room. Alone in the lawn, he recalled Machaan.

Ninemsn bets on a celebrity fix

NINEMSN is banking on Australia's obsession with celebrities to deliver a lift in audience and revenue through a new website that rolls entertainment, gossip, music and celebrity coverage into one.

Australia's leading internet portal is also looking to The Fix to spearhead an aggressive push into "integrated advertising" packages for clients and to increase video traffic on its site.

Ninemsn's marketing director, Tony Thomas, said the new site - launched this week with a marketing campaign starring a Victoria Beckham lookalike - might also change perceptions of ninemsn and increase the amount of time spent on the network.

"We hope to attract a whole new audience and, if they have a positive perception of it after, then we'd be happy," Mr Thomas said.

Straddling two states, Delmar seeks a balance

But the two governing bodies have met and worked together on many issues since 1947, realizing it was sensible and considerably less expensive to pool their resources.

The most difficult aspect of the two-state relationship is properly wording ordinances so that each adheres to its state requirements, said Delmar, Del., mayor John McDonnell, who is married to Dee McDonnell.

"We have to make everything a mirror image of each other so our enforcement people don't have to look through a handbook to see how the law applies," he said. "When we pass something, we always run it by the attorneys so everyone is on the same page. It makes life a lot easier."

The towns share a police force, established in 1956 and now the last such bi-state municipal department in the country, according to chief Harold Saylor.

Marlyn Monette: Iconic chef elevated Southern cuisine

Slowly heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan until it is 350-degrees F. While the oil is heating, stir together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well blended. Pour the milk in a shallow bowl. Once the oil has reached the right temperature, dip half the crabs, one at a time, into the milk, and then dredge lightly in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour and gently ease the crabs, shell side down, into the hot oil. Cook until the crabs are a rich golden brown on one side, about 3-4 minutes, then turn them and continue cooking until browned on the other, about 2-3 minutes longer. Carefully transfer the crabs to a draining rack or thickly crumpled paper towels, and keep them warm while you fry the second batch and prepare the brown-butter sauce. Heat the butter in a nonreactive skillet (such as stainless steel) until it is foamy and begins to brown.

Britney Does Worse Than Expected!

Yeah, but look at itunes and amazon.com, and combined all those sales along with billboard…billboard is hatin the fact that if Britney goes to #1 she'll be the only artist to have all her album debut at #1. But b/c she's a trainwreck and billboard is ran by old hicks like the grammy's, they would see the eagles be #1.

PS my dad bought the eagles, and my dad is internet incompetent….

Deprivation and inequality 'divide nation'

If you look at the facade it doesn't look too bad, but it is what lies behind them that does the damage. "The people are totally excluded from the knowledge economy and can see no way out of it." However, Devine believes devolution has at least begun to address the deprivation that plagues the poorest areas of Scottish cities. But he doubts whether it can ever be reversed, and also questions the role of the benefits system. He said: "Devolution has helped because it has produced a considerable political will to do something. But as far as I am aware, no society on the planet has been able to manage this problem that some members of our society don't get the same advantages as the majority. "The welfare state can provide a safety net, but when people get embedded in that safety net there is always the possibility for the dependency culture to exist." Professor Ivan Turok, an expert in urban studies at Glasgow University, said: "My immediate reaction is that there is a lot of sense in what Tom is saying.

Finding good-tasting fiber to put in your diet is easy

If you don't already know it, February is Heart Health Month.

My e-mail gets clogged arteries just trying to keep up with the information sent to me about healthy eating, so cleaning out the file last week, I saved some advice from Tanya Zuckerbrot, a registered dietician, nutritionist and the creator of The F-Factor Diet, a nutritional program that incorporates more fiber into your diet as the source of permanent weight loss.

We probably don't spend enough time considering fiber in our diets. Yet, eating more is one of the major changes you can make to improve cholesterol. Fiber binds with cholesterol in the GI tract and ushers it out of the body before it reaches the bloodstream, resulting in decreased cholesterol.

Here are some easily available and tasty sources of fiber to work into your diet for February Heart Health Month:

Artichoke -- An entire artichoke has 6 grams of fiber and only 60 calories.
