Hillary’s Looming Electability Crisis

Bush. We beseech Democratic voters this Tuesday to make such an effort unnecessary in 2008. Obama can unite progressives, independents and Democrats, and discourage rather than unify Republicans.

John Pearce and Kathy Cramer were founders and directors of Ralph Don't Run, a progressive citizens' campaign opposed to Ralph Nader's candidacy in 2004.

I washed my iPhone, now what?

We've all heard stories about people who've dropped their iPod or phone in the toilet, or perhaps they've left it in their pocket and the device has been washed. Keith Shaw talks with Aaron Vronko from Rapid Repair, about when you should try and fix the device, or whether you should just buy a new one. Also, hear about the guy who fixed his iPod by baking it in an oven (not recommended) (14:08).

Xenophobe: Warrior Princess

The Settlement Agreement marks the success of that journey.

The Settlement is symbolic. It is a symbolic offering from Canada which acknowledges the harm done to survivors of Indian residential schools and how very wrong it was to inflict that harm. It is not a government handout – far from it - …it is an admission of wrong doing and an attempt to make amends.

More than 450 domestic and international wineries will be at this year's Boston Wine Expo, pouring their latest and greatest wines for connoisseurs and fledgling oenophiles alike.

The expo will kick off its 17th year this weekend at the Seaport World Trade Center and Seaport Hotel on Boston's waterfront.

According to show director Ed Hurley, it's the largest wine event in the country. The main event on the show floor is the Grand Tasting, where the vineyards are set up in the center ``like a large reception,'' he said.

``For the most part, it's made up of wine tables,'' said Hurley. ``Instead of seeing rows and rows of booths, all of the wineries are all there. They're all grouped by countries. There are ancillary booths with wine products (along the sides).''

Visitors can choose from more than 1,800 different wines from 13 countries.

Loblaw tries to weed out bad apples

Both groups have a much higher incarceration rate than white Canadians. Both come from cultures which stress sharing of goods and produce, why does the govt pay lip service to multiculturalism.

Forty-five years later, Salishan had deteriorated into a dangerous slum, plagued by murders, assaults and drive-by shootings. In 1990, police responded to 331 reports of violent crime there, an average of nearly one a day.

In a particularly horrific incident in 1998, a pregnant Vietnamese woman and her two young children died after someone doused their duplex with gasoline and set it on fire. That crime is still unsolved.

To many South Sound residents, the name "Salishan" still connotes violent crime and concentrated poverty.

Janis Flauding, 40, now an enthusiastic tenant in the new Salishan, is among those who have had to adjust their attitudes. She grew up in Tacoma, thinking of Salishan as one of the last places she would want to live.

Bad decisions and bad luck ejected Flauding from the middle class.

Fans have their say on FA Cup exit

Stop throwing in the towel and fight for your pride, the club and the supporters!

One thing is for sure - we are in for one hell of a bumpy ride until the end of the season.

God help us.

Martin van Tuyl, season ticket holder, Kingsland

HOW can Jason Dodd say that Bristol wanted it more than Saints?

How many of the Saints team have played in a FA Cup final?

I will take my hat off to Dodd as he has the backbone to come out and say this - not like the rest of the team who slipped away out of the back door to avoid the fans who paid their cash to watch this rubbish.

As fans, we have to watch this week in and week out. Now it is getting boring and becoming a joke.

It is not that we lost, it was the way we lost.

Warmth a precious commodity for reservation homes

Wearing sweaters, cooking pizzas in a toaster oven and turning down the water heater are not popular rules at Aldena Pretty Weasel's Eagle Butte home, but they are necessary steps the single mother of six and grandmother has taken to conserve propane.
